Role Information
 

Peter Lucas Project Management is a group of energetic and curious problem-solvers; we are currently looking for a Mechanical Technologist to join our team.

The initial term of the role is three months with the possibility of extension. The role will be based in Saskatoon but may include periodic trips to remote mine sites in northern Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:
 

• Mechanical designer with experience in 3D modelling in Autodesk Plant3D, working knowledge of smart P&IDs in Plant 3D, Cloudworx, Jetstream 3D Modeling, Navisworks, and AutoCAD in general
• Previous experience working with Cameco CAD standards & Procedures preferred
• Experience with process piping, pumping, equipment and layout design, HVAC and building services

Duties:
 

• Perform mechanical design work using 3D modeling tools (AutoCad Plant 3D and 3D Point Cloud) to develop 3D models, 2D drawings on various projects executed within Cameco.
• Work with mechanical engineers in support of development of intelligent P&IDs, 3D modelling, piping and general arrangements, HVAC and other mechanical design drawings
• Develop BOMs and construction work packages
