Role Information
 

Peter Lucas Project Management is a group of energetic and curious problem-solvers; we are currently looking for an experienced Mining Project Manager to join our team.

We are looking for qualified Safety Managers to act on the owner's behalf during a project at a remote mine site in Northern Saskatchewan. The initial term of the contract is until the end of May 2022, however there is possibility of extension. The work rotation will be 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out.

Qualifications:
 

- Minimum 4 years' experience
- CSO designation or equivalent

Duties:
 

- Ensures construction activities comply with safety health environment
and quality (SHEQ) requirements and monitors daily activities to identify
hazardous conditions and implementation of safe work procedures to
ensure safety and environmental requirements are met
- Ensures all safety, health and environmental procedures and work
instructions are followed, including radiation protection
- Conducts and monitors SHEQ related training for construction
management team personnel and contractors
- Reviews field level risk assessments and TASC safety cards for quality
adherence
- Assess qualifications of construction contractor personnel
- Participates in constructability reviews upon request
